We all know that one person, who grows super hot chillis. In my experience, it is a man- just like it is almost always older men who obsessively grow dahlias, roses and lawns. Why do they do this? Why the hyper focus?

This week (I will get to this a bit later) a lovely woman gave me insanely hot chillis, and I was both annoyed at myself for gendering the situation and awed…

Great ideas

I know this is a bit silly, but planting lots of flowers in the parts of the garden that I had cleared, but wasn’t able to manage well was a really nice idea. It’s just so lovely to walk through, although wading through the flowers to find my capsicum is a bit annoying.
